ONC’s 2015 Criteria Require EHRs To Report Antimicrobial Use, Resistance

Electronic health records must be able to create antimicrobial use and resistance reporting information for electronic transmission under the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s EHR 2015 criteria released Tuesday (Oct.6). HHS' move comes after two other government agencies recently stepped up efforts to counter antibiotic resistance.
