Long-Awaited ACA Nondiscrimination Rule Now At OMB

A proposed regulation implementing an Affordable Care Act provision that prohibits discrimination in health care programs appears to be under review at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The pending regulation, long-awaited by patient advocates, is described by OMB as addressing nondiscrimination in the ACA and falling under the jurisdiction of HHS' Office of Civil Rights.
