Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) reminded stakeholders Monday (Sept. 26) that the administration could allow drug imports without new legislation from Congress. She said Congress should take initial steps to stem drug prices by passing bipartisan bills that ban settlements slowing generic competition, that allow Canadian drug imports and that make it easier for generic drug companies to obtain branded drug samples needed for FDA generic reviews.
