The House on Friday (Feb. 12) approved a bill that would loosen requirements in FDA's controversial menu labeling rule and push the enactment back even further. The measure, which passed 266 to 144, would allow establishments whose business is primarily take out or delivery, such as pizza restaurants, more flexibility in displaying calorie counts and limit the liability companies face for noncompliance.
