Hospitals Push Back After HHS Rejects Their Appeals-Backlog Proposals

The American Hospital Association hit back at HHS for rejecting industry's proposals to fix the backlog of Medicare appeals. If HHS thinks it can eliminate the problem within a few years, AHA says, then it shouldn't oppose court-imposed deadlines for reducing the backlog.
