FDA Finalizes Intentional Adulteration Rule, Completing Last Of FSMA Regs

FDA finalized the last of seven Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rules designed to protect against intentional adulteration where the intent is to cause wide-spread public harm. The rule, unveiled Thursday (May 26), requires businesses to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies to protect the food supply.
