FDA has agreed to delete years-old social media posts and other materials advising against the use of antiparasitic drug ivermectin to treat COVID-19 in exchange for dismissal of a court case against the agency over the earlier messaging, which plaintiffs said overstepped agency authority by interfering with doctors’ right to practice medicine.
