E&C Lawmakers Probe FDA On Device Cybersecurity, Eye Hearing

Following reports of cyberattack vulnerabilities of insulin pumps and implanted cardiac devices, a bipartisan duo on the House Energy & Commerce Committee asked FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and device center head Jeff Shuren to detail what the agency is doing with external stakeholders and other government agencies to prevent cyberattacks on medical devices.
