BCBS Nebraska Exits Exchange Market, Open To Returning In 2018 If Federal Policies Shift

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska announced Friday (Sept. 23) that it would no longer sell products in the state’s health insurance exchange due to heavy financial losses totaling about $140 million over the past three years, but the insurer said it might return in 2018 if federal policies shift.
