The brand pharmaceutical lobby and 99 other groups on Friday (March 4) asked CMS to scrap an outpatient drug-payment demonstration proposal under review at the White House that is expected out soon. The letter also was sent to key lawmakers, some of whom have repeatedly sought details from HHS Secretary Sylvia Burwell about the demo after the agency inadvertently notified Medicare contractors about the plan last month.
