100 Doctor Groups Ask CMS For ICD-10 Back-Up Plan

The nation's largest physician lobbying group and 99 state and specialty societies asked CMS Wednesday (March 4) to create a plan for handling a potential flood of rejected claims when the new billing-code system takes effect in October. The Government Accountability Office recently said CMS has a back-up plan that it is not sharing with the public.
