CMS Targets Six States Over Ongoing Backlogs In Medicaid Enrollment

CMS has given six states until next week to say how they will address ongoing Medicaid eligibility and enrollment issues that are preventing beneficiaries from getting coverage, with problems ranging from the “account transfer” process that sends application files between states and the federally facilitated exchange to application processing and verifying eligibility, according to documents obtained by Inside Health Policy .
